The origin
I ended up in Köln by a road that wasn't straightforward — life took some sharp turns before it landed me here, living with family, starting over in a city I love. Arriving here with almost nothing and a laptop turned out to be exactly the right conditions for building something that matters.
I've always believed that code is the new way to change the world. Decentralized systems, real people connecting peer-to-peer with no middleman — that idea has driven everything I've ever built. When I met Doggo, a ridiculously talented artist watching his own work disappear into an ocean of AI-generated images, everything clicked into place.
The moment
AI art started showing up everywhere and I couldn't always tell what was real. The craft behind a piece — the hours, the decisions, the humanity of it — was becoming invisible. So we decided to build something that fights that, and pairs it with action in the physical world too.
HART isn't a company. It isn't really even ours. It belongs to every artist who uploads their first piece, every person who signs their name against AI theft, every stranger who picks up litter on a Tuesday because they believe the world is worth caring about. Doggo and I just built the door. You walk through it.
What I work on
- HART platform — the marketplace, the canvas, the burn flow. Most of the code in this repo.
- Real-world cleanup tooling — verified outdoor cleanups, GPS proof, on-chain receipts. A side of HART that lives in the physical world.
How I show up
Katze is a handle, not a PR persona. I stayed anonymous because HART was never meant to be about me — but I'm in Discord every day, I answer messages, I ship fixes when bugs are reported. This is my first project at this scale and I will make mistakes. If you're patient with me while I fix bugs and keep shipping, I promise to keep building and listening.
